In a new still from the upcoming film UI featuring Upendra, the use of advanced technology continues to create excitement. The filmmakers have now disclosed that they utilized 200 DSLR cameras to capture footage for creating the actor’s body double in the movie, which was then scanned through 3D technology. Naveen Manoharan, the director, mentioned that this method facilitated the seamless integration of a virtual body double into various scenes. The action thriller, backed by producers G Manoharan and Sreekanth K P, features Reeshma Nanaiah in a key role and is set to be released on December 20. The filmmakers combined practical sets with state-of-the-art virtual reality technology to construct a visually stunning world, incorporating over 1,400 VFX shots. One particular shot utilized Virtual Reality technology and a mocobot camera to enhance the immersive experience for viewers. Additionally, an expansive eight-acre set was built to depict a separate city for filming. With all VFX work now finished, the team is eager to present the film to audiences. UI promises a visual spectacle in multiple languages, offering viewers a thought-provoking experience that sets it apart. Upendra expressed his excitement about sharing the film with audiences, mentioning that the film’s songs, posters, and teasers have prepared viewers for what lies ahead.
